Every wine tour we organize can end with a special stop: a private tasting with Alessandro at Enoteca Pierangioli in the historic center of Montalcino.
Founded in 1988 by the Pierangioli family, the wine shop has been a point of reference for fans of Brunello and great Tuscan wines for nearly four decades. It is not just a wine shop, it is a place where wine is told, explained and made to be loved. A careful selection of the best labels of Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino and other great Tuscan wines welcomes visitors in an authentic and intimate atmosphere, far from mass tourism.
A wine shop tasting with Alessandro is not just any wine tasting. It’s a moment when someone who has spent a lifetime around wine tells you what’s inside a glass-the story of a vintage, the character of a producer, the connection between a wine and the terroir that spawned it.
The wine shop is open year-round and is located in the Piazza del Popolo, Montalcino’s main square, easily reached on foot from anywhere in the historic center. Private tastings can be arranged for our tour clients by reservation.
